In February of 2001 RE:ZOUND traveled with missionaries from Jubilee International and lead worship for a Rock Crusade for crowds of 50,000. The gospel message was preached at a time when very few missionaries were venturing into India. Safety was an issue here with the government being predominately Hindu at this time, and although freedom was the law, the government was still adjusting slowly to these freedoms. Ony 3% of the population of 800,0000 people at this time were professed Christian. This was RE:ZOUND and Winners Team Partners very first joint venture into the Rock Crusade idea, a music driven crusade designed to attract the young people of a nation to come and here about Jesus Christ.
