· Harvest Night: The body of members of the Living Word every year band together to host a night for families to come together costumed for rides and games all for free. Even the candy is free! There are families that would never be able to take there kids to an event like this if it weren’t free. This is a gift to our community.
· Fouth of July: America is important to the members of The Living Word. We come together to send a message in our community that our church is one that greatly understands the blessing of living in this country, and the responsibility as well! We honor our nation every year with fire works, games, rides and fun. Once again, all these things are free, a gift from the business owners who are a part of the body at The Living Word.
· Free Easter Egg Hunt – The Saturday Night before Easter Sunday we provide an easter egg hunt where the eggs are filled with candy and prizes.
· Free Vacation Bible School - The Living Word offers one of the only absolutely free vacation bible school weeks in our valley. Vacation Bible School is for 1st through 6th graders to come and sing songs, play games, and learn important bible lessons through puppets and entertainment. It is a week kids never forget, (not to mention a nice break for parents every summer).
· Saturday Night Date Night: Every Saturday Night we will watch your kids; a free “baby sitting” service for all ages. Well, it’s not really like baby sitting, as the night is packed with fun, and we even provide dinner for your kids, ala pizza. Marriages have a better chance to flourish if couples can remember to slow down once per week and focus on the relationship. Many couples cannot afford baby sitting. This is a gift we offer to our community, hoping to create an opportunity for children to grow up in a secure and stable loving home.
